Notorious Jamshedpur drug pusher Md. Firoz arrested with 750 pudias of brown sugar; Police promise no leniency towards illegal drug trade in Adityapur.
SERAIKELA – In a significant crackdown against brown sugar smuggling, the Adityapur police station of Kharsawan district arrested a notorious drug dealer, Mohammad Firoz.
The police had received confidential information regarding brown sugar transactions taking place in the Muslim Basti of Adityapur, leading to the formation of a team to investigate the matter.
Upon interrogation, Firoz was found to be in possession of 750 pudias of brown sugar.
SP Dr. Vimal Kumar stated that Firoz, who has a criminal history and is a resident of Haldipokhar, Jamshedpur, was supplied the brown sugar by the infamous smuggler Mogla.
The police are now planning to issue an attachment warrant against Mogla.
Dr. Kumar made it clear that the police would not allow illegal drug dealing to thrive in Adityapur or any other district police station areas, making it a top priority in their agenda.
