West Singhbhum Police Seize Over 21 Quintals of Illegal Doda

West Singhbhum District Police have successfully recovered 21.62 quintals of illegal doda, with a market value estimated at around Rs 3 crore.

CHAIBASA – West Singhbhum District Police have successfully recovered 21.62 quintals of illegal Doda (poppy), with a market value estimated at around Rs 3 crore.

The operation was based on confidential information that led a police team, organized by Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar and led by Chakradharpur SDPO, to the Bandgaon police station area.

The illegal substance was found in 92 bags at Barjo on Saturday night, intended for smuggling.

Following the recovery, a case has been registered at the Bandgaon police station, marking a significant blow to illegal drug trafficking activities in the region.
