Voter List Draft Set for July 25 Release in Jharkhand

Electoral office urges citizens to verify registration details

Jharkhand’s election machinery prepares for crucial voter list revision phase, emphasizing citizen participation in verification process.

RANCHI – The state’s electoral office has made an important announcement regarding the progress of the voter list revision process.

K. Ravi Kumar, the Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand, announced that the draft voter list will be published on July 25 as part of the second special summary revision program.

Voters will have the chance to verify their registration details as the draft list will be prominently displayed at all polling stations across the state.

It is important for citizens to make sure they visit their assigned polling stations on July 25 in order to verify their details in the preliminary voter list.

If you are unable to check in person, there are online platforms like the Voter Helpline App and Voter Service Portal that you can use for remote verification.

A new SMS service has been launched, enabling voters to easily confirm their inclusion by sending a message to 1950 along with their EPIC number.

The electoral office emphasizes the significance of verifying information early to avoid any complications during the voting process.

A social media campaign called #NaamJancho is set to take place on July 25 from 12 noon to 1 pm. The campaign aims to increase awareness about the verification process.

Kumar has urged political parties, social media influencers, and the general public to actively engage in the campaign and encourage widespread voter list verification.

This initiative seeks to promote a seamless and inclusive electoral process in the upcoming elections by reducing inconsistencies in voter registration.
