During the meeting, which was attended by senior officials from the headquarters and DCs and SPs of all districts via video conference, each district presented their comprehensive security plans for the festival.

Special Focus on Sensitive Districts

Apart from the district police, special forces will also be deployed in sensitive districts of the state where cases of communal tension have been reported in the past,” said DGP Ajay Kumar Singh.

Police will maintain a close watch on anti-social elements across all districts and have been instructed to stay in touch with dignitaries from all sections of society to handle any emergency situation effectively.

Identifying Communal Elements
