In a gripping encounter, Jamshedpur FC clinches a 2-1 victory against NorthEast United in the Kalinga Super Cup.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur FC emerged victorious in a riveting Kalinga Super Cup match against NorthEast United, finishing with a 2-1 scoreline.

The game began with Nestor scoring for NorthEast United at the 17th minute, setting an early challenge for Jamshedpur.

Jamshedpur’s new head coach, Khalid Jamil, made decisive early substitutions, bringing in Provat Lakra and Germanpreet.

The first half was relatively subdued, with standout performances from Jamshedpur’s Jeremy Manzorro and NorthEast’s Nestor.

The dynamic shifted significantly in the second half, especially after Alen’s entry under Jamil’s strategy.

Alen’s introduction infused Jamshedpur’s play with harmony and vigor.

Steve Ambri’s near-goal moment in the 60th minute heightened the match’s intensity.

Daniel Chima’s equalizer in the 68th minute, following a cross from Ambri, leveled the score to 1-1.

Chima continued his dynamic display, attempting a spectacular shot in the 72nd minute.

The turning point came in the 88th minute when Steve Ambri, set up by Manzorro, scored, securing Jamshedpur’s lead.

Jeremy Manzorro’s pivotal role earned him the Man of the Match title.

Coach Khalid Jamil lauded his team’s effort and the blend of young, foreign, and experienced players, emphasizing their energetic and tactical gameplay.
