In a commendable achievement, students from Jamshedpur Women’s University secure notable placements in Yokohama, Gujarat, marking a significant milestone for the institution and its dedication to women’s empowerment.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) has witnessed a remarkable success in its recent placement drive, with 50 students securing employment opportunities in Yokohama, Gujarat, celebrated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta.

The placement event, conducted on March 21, 2024, saw the participation of 324 girl students, with 89 of them advancing to the interview stage, highlighting the competitive spirit and talent among the university’s students.

This initiative underscores JWU’s commitment to offering young women unique career pathways and contributing to their professional growth and empowerment.

The successful placement drive was supported by the HR Director of Yokohama Gujarat, alongside JWU’s Placement Coordinator Dr. Ratna Mitra, Dr. Kamini Kumari, and Dr. Chhagan Agarwal, ensuring a seamless process for the students.

The achievement serves as a testament to the university’s excellence in education and its role in paving the way for young women to excel in their careers, further enhancing the prestige of Jamshedpur Women’s University on both a national and international level.
