JAMSHEDPUR – “We may have lost the election, but not the battlefield. Our struggle will continue, and there will be no compromise with the dignity of the people of Ichagarh,” said AJSU Party Central Secretary Hare Lal Mahto on Friday. He was addressing a constituency-level meeting at Bhadudih, where party leaders analyzed the recent electoral defeat and discussed strategies for future growth.

Public Service with Double Energy

During the meeting, Hare Lal Mahto emphasized that the defeat was merely numerical. “Our spirit of struggle and service will persist with twice the energy,” he declared. He highlighted that the party’s vote share increased in 2024 compared to 2019, which reflects the dedication of AJSU workers and the trust of the people. “Receiving over 51,000 votes is a testament to our workers’ loyalty and commitment. Let us not let this result demoralize us, but instead turn it into our strength,” he urged.

Call to Party Workers

Hare Lal Mahto encouraged workers to continue fighting for the rights of Ichagarh residents. “Our work for public welfare will not stop under any circumstances. This is our promise,” he said, motivating the gathering.

Key Leaders and Attendees

Several prominent AJSU leaders attended the meeting, including Satyanarayan Mahto, Ravishankar Maurya, Zilla Parishad member Asit Singh Patra, Ashok Saw (also known as Manjhi Saw), Baidyanath Mahto, Nayan Singh Munda, Amulya Mahto, Durga Mahto, and Amla Murmu. Hundreds of dedicated AJSU workers were also present, showing strong solidarity with the party’s leadership and vision.

The meeting concluded with a resolve to bolster party presence and continue working tirelessly for the development and dignity of Ichagarh.
