Samajik Sewa Sangh pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi

Jamshedpur: The social organisation Samajik Seva Sangh observed the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Gandhi Jayanti with simplicity in Yashoda Nagar in Govindpur. The people present in the programme resolved to follow the foot-steps of Mahatma Gandhi. Everyone joined in for sprinkling bleaching powder in Yashoda Nagar.

A large number of people led by the patron of the organisation Naval Kishore Paswan paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi by offering flowers on his picture.

The president of the organisation Rajesh Samant and several other locals were also present on the occasion.

The people assembled also displayed banners and slogans inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts. All of them made an appeal to everyone to fight against social evils like crime against women, murders and rapes.
