CM intervenes to help 27 families of rain-affected Pratappur village in Baharagroa block

Jamshedpur: 27 families of Pratappur village in Kumardubi panchayat of Baharagora block rendered homeless by incessant rains and flooding of their village will get help and relief from the government now, thanks to CM Hemant Soren’s intervention.

Pratappur village comes under Kumardubi panchayat of Baharagora block. Due to incessant rains the village has been completely inundated and the 27 families have been rendered homeless.

There is no bridge connecting the village to other areas.

The plight of the villagers was brought to the attention of the Chief Minister Hemant Soren by Jyotirmoy Das, a lawyer and ABVP Jamshedpur leader.

The Chief Minister took cognisance of the matter and asked the DC, East Singhbhum to provide all help to the affected families under information to him.

The DC of East Singhbhum too responded fast and said that necessary action is being taken in the matter.
