JAMSHEDPUR – A women’s social organization distributed 500 blankets in Bhuiyandih today as severe cold wave conditions grip Jharkhand.
Nari Shakti Mahila Sangathan conducted the distribution drive. The event took place at Patel Nagar community hall. Moreover, Purnima Das Sahu provided support for the initiative.
Das Sahu represents Purvi assembly constituency. She assisted the social organization in arrangements. However, the women’s group led the execution.
Chaitali Singh heads Nari Shakti Mahila Sangathan. She emphasized the necessity of winter relief. Furthermore, she identified vulnerable groups needing assistance.
“Severe cold is affecting the region,” Singh stated. “We are distributing blankets among needy people.” In addition, she highlighted focus on specific groups.
The distribution targeted elderly citizens primarily. Children also received blankets during the event. Besides, other vulnerable individuals were included.
The community hall witnessed significant turnout. Beneficiaries collected blankets throughout the day. Meanwhile, volunteers managed the distribution process.
