East Singhbhum Admin Holds Key Meet for Peaceful Durga Puja Celebrations

District Officials and Central Peace Committee Discuss Comprehensive Plan to Ensure Law, Order, and Devotee Safety

Key meeting between East Singhbhum district administration and Central Peace Committee aims to secure a peaceful Durga Puja. Discussions on safety, law and order, and traffic control took center stage.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Kishore Kaushal convened a high-level meeting with the Central Peace Committee focusing on the harmonious conduct of the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations.

The meeting took place at Birsa Munda Town Hall in Sidhgora and saw attendance from a plethora of district officials, including Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Manish Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer Dhalbhum Mr. Piyush Sinha, and ADM Law and Order Mr. Dipu Kumar, among others.

The agenda encompassed a broad range of topics, from law and order to crowd management and traffic systems.

Members of the Central Peace Committee presented their views and suggestions concerning cleanliness, water supply, and other logistics.

The district administration assured that feedback from previous meetings is under active consideration and that necessary adjustments will be made in due time.

Mr. Bhajantri emphasized the famed grandeur of East Singhbhum’s Durga Puja and urged for community cooperation in keeping the celebrations peaceful.

He stressed on adhering to predetermined immersion routes and maintaining essential services like power supply and sanitation.

Mr. Kaushal outlined the importance of crowd management, specifying the need for separate entry and exit points, as well as emergency exits in every pandal.

Both officials highlighted the need for stringent security measures, including functional CCTV systems and a list of volunteers to be shared with local police stations.
