A powerful storm that struck Ghatshila and its neighboring regions on Monday evening left a trail of destruction, causing extensive damage to electrical infrastructure, shops, and roadways, disrupting daily life and prompting officials to assess the full extent of the devastation.

JAMSHEDPUR – A violent storm that battered Ghatshila and its surrounding areas on Monday evening caused widespread destruction, damaging electric poles and wires, disrupting power supply, and hampering daily life, as officials from the electricity department and administration work to assess the full extent of the damage and restore normalcy.

Electricity department and administration officials are running a search operation to find out other damage.

Traffic was disrupted for a long time due to huge trees breaking and falling on the main roads.

Shops have also suffered a lot due to this storm and water.

Electricity department employees are busy repairing broken poles and wires.

Due to this the power supply has been disrupted.

During this period, electric poles and wires were broken due to falling of trees at many places in Ghatshila.
