Tatanagar: Railway Disruptions Affect Multiple Express Trains
Line Block in Bilaspur Division Causes Route Changes and Cancellations
Major express trains face route alterations and cancellations due to ongoing line block, impacting passengers across multiple regions.
JAMSHEDPUR – Several express trains, including the Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express, are operating on altered routes due to a line block in the Bilaspur Division.
The Gitanjali Express will follow a modified route until July 1.
Shalimar-Porbandar Express will run on a changed route until June 29.
Many trains are being redirected via the Raipur route through Jharsuguda, causing inconvenience to passengers.
The South East Zone mandated these changes due to the ongoing line block.
The Itwari-Bilaspur Express from Tatanagar has been cancelled until June 30.
Santragachi-Pune Express will remain cancelled until July 1.
The Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express is cancelled until July 2.
Santragachi-Jabalpur Express cancellations extend until June 27.
Kurla-Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express will not run until July 1.
The Utkal Express and South Bihar Express will operate on adjusted schedules.
A line block is also expected between Santragachi and Sankrail stations near Howrah.
This additional block will affect operations of about a dozen trains originating from or passing through Tatanagar.
