DBMS Kadma High School, Jamshedpur Marks Graduation Day

D.B.M.S. Kadma High School, Jamshedpur, hosted its graduation ceremony for the Std XII batch of 2023-24, highlighting lifelong education beyond classrooms.
JAMSHEDPUR – D.B.M.S. Kadma High School celebrated the graduation of its Std XII students for the academic year 2023-24, emphasizing the importance of education as a lifelong journey that extends beyond classrooms and school settings.
The event took place in the school’s auditorium, “Kalakriti,” on 5th February 2024, marking a significant milestone in the students’ academic careers.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Mr. B Chandrashekhar (Chairperson Finance BOT), Ms. Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), Ms. Kamala Venkat (Joint Secretary), Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Ms. Aruna Ravi (Joint Treasurer), SMC Members – Ms Jayanti Ramamurthy and Ms Sri Vidya Narayan, along with the school’s Principal Ms. Gurpreet Bhambra, Vice Principals Ms. Suparna Roy and Ms. S.Shireen, demonstrating the strong community and leadership support for the graduates.
Mr. B. Chandrashekhar expressed his best wishes for the students’ upcoming board exams and future endeavors, emphasizing the school’s commitment to their continued success.
Students were acknowledged with club awards, certificates, and mementos, celebrating their achievements and contributions during their time at the school.
The school magazine, Excelsior, was unveiled by the Chief Guest and the SMC members, adding a memorable highlight to the ceremony.
Principal Ms. Gurpreet Bhambra and Vice Principal Ms. Suparna Roy extended their blessings and warm wishes to the graduating batch, setting a positive tone for their future.
The event commenced with traditional ceremonies, including the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer song, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and the dispelling of darkness and ignorance.
Professor Durga D. Pathak, an esteemed alumnus of XLRI and a veteran of Tata Steel with 37 years of service, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, providing an inspirational presence for the students and guests.
