Little Flower School (LFS) in Telco wrapped up its Earth Day celebrations with a week-long Domestic Waste Collection Drive, starting April 22.
JAMSHEDPUR – Little Flower School (LFS) in Telco wrapped up its Earth Day celebrations with a week-long Domestic Waste Collection Drive, starting April 22.
The initiative, led by Nirmala Bhagat for the third year, concluded on April 26.
Students actively participated, contributing a substantial amount of recyclable materials.
The collected waste included 64.58 kgs of plastic bottles, 95 kgs of electrical waste, and 19 kgs of tins and cans.
Additionally, 4 kgs of steel waste and 60.25 kgs of hard fiber waste were gathered.
This annual drive highlights the critical role of recycling in reducing pollution and promoting environmental sustainability.
Little Flower School continues to foster eco-consciousness among its students through such impactful initiatives.
The drive’s success demonstrates the school’s commitment to environmental stewardship and its ongoing efforts to instill sustainable practices in the younger generation.
