Health Minister raises infrastructure and tribal welfare issues during PM’s Jamshedpur trip

Key Points:

• Minister questions PM’s road journey, challenging BJP’s law and order claims

• Demands for Sarna Code implementation and OBC reservation raised

• Concerns over incomplete NH-33 construction and state’s financial dues highlighted

JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta issued a series of challenges to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Jamshedpur, questioning infrastructure development and tribal welfare policies.

Gupta’s press release highlighted the Prime Minister’s smooth 130 km road journey.

This fact contradicted BJP’s claims about deteriorating law and order in the state.

"The PM’s travel on NH-33 raises questions about the BJP’s allegations," an unnamed government insider remarked.

The minister demanded clarity on the implementation of the Sarna Dharma Code for tribals.

He also inquired about the 27% reservation for backward classes, citing Modi’s frequent references to his OBC background.

Gupta questioned the BJP’s intentions regarding Jharkhand’s elected government.

He specifically asked if Champai Soren would be named as the NDA’s chief ministerial candidate.

The release addressed the withholding of Jharkhand’s financial dues by the central government.

Gupta sought an explanation for the delayed release of Rs 1.36 lakh crore owed to the state.

The minister pointed out incomplete construction work on NH-33 near Chandil roundabout.

He expressed concerns about frequent traffic jams and accidents due to these delays.

"Will there be an investigation into the unfinished NH-33 project?" a local resident questioned.

Gupta’s press release aimed to bring attention to various issues during the Prime Minister’s visit.

It highlighted concerns about infrastructure development, tribal welfare, and state finances.
