Full Dress Rehearsal on 13th for 77th Independence Day
East Singhbhum district administration kicks off preparations for the 77th Independence Day with a parade rehearsal at Police Line, Golmuri, gearing up for the main event at Gopal Maidan.
JAMSHEDPUR – Preparations for the 77th Independence Day have begun in earnest with the East Singhbhum district administration holding the first day of parade rehearsal at Police Line, Golmuri.
The full dress rehearsal is scheduled for 13th August, with multiple practice sessions leading up to it.
Various contingents involved in the parade, including JAP 6, District Police Force (both Female and Male), Home Guard, NCC (Female/Male), Scouts and Guides, and the band team of St. Mary’s School, actively participated in the parade.
The rehearsal ensured a meticulous practice of the entire ceremony, including flag hoisting, saluting the national flag, and rendering the national anthem.
These rehearsals are set to continue on the 11th and 12th of August, culminating in the final rehearsal on the 13th of August.
This final rehearsal will be a significant event, as it will be jointly inspected by District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Prabhat Kumar.
The main function for the district will be held at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, and the administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a flawless celebration.
Officials said that the diligent rehearsals reflect the dedication and national pride that permeate the district’s administration as well as the local residents as they prepare to commemorate India’s 77th Independence Day with grandeur.
