Day Two of Adi Puram: Sri Rama Paduka Ashramam Celebrates with Rituals and Prasad
Celebrations continue at Sri Rama Paduka Ashramam for Adi Puram with rituals concluding in prasad distribution.
JAMSHEDPUR – The second and final day of Adi Puram festivities at Sri Rama Paduka Ashramam in Farm Area Kadma commenced with a ceremonial Havan dedicated to Sri Ganapati.
This marked the opening of a day filled with devotion and reverence.
Nine kalash were installed by the visiting Vedic Pandits, further accentuating the spiritual atmosphere of the event.
The day’s rituals continued with the performance of the Sri Sukta Havan following the Puja and Archana, where attendees were fully engrossed in the sacred ceremonies.
The Pandits then conducted Vasordhara, a significant ritual involving continuous pouring of ghee into the Havan Kund.
The offering of Purnahuti for Sri Ram was a grand event in itself.
It involved the offering of fruits, flowers, and a saree at the Ashram.
The next stage was the performance of Kalash Abhishek, carried out with great reverence and devotion.
The event culminated with the Maha Arati, performed for the Vedic Pandits by the management committee members, under the guidance of Sri Subramanya Ganapatigal.
This spiritual event concluded with the distribution of Prasad to hundreds of devotees, marking the successful conclusion of the Adi Puram festivities.
