Devotee Worship and Fire Ritual Create a Spiritual Atmosphere
Consumption Includes 50 Tins of Ghee, 30 Quintals of Fruits, and 25 Kg of Sandalwood
A spiritual atmosphere enveloped the Shri Laxminarayan Temple on the third day of the Pran Pratishtha Mahayagna, with various rituals and offerings.
JAMSHEDPUR – The third day of the Shri Laxminarayan Temple Pran Pratishtha Mahayagna saw the worship of previously invoked deities on Friday, followed by fire installation and havan.
Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy served as the chief patron.
Many local devotees also participated as patrons on Friday.
The deities’ idols underwent rituals like Dhritadhivasa, Gandhadhivasa, Pushpadhivasa, and Phaladhivasa as part of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
The day concluded with an evening aarti and pushpanjali, with the ceremonies pausing at 5 PM.
Pandit Vinod Pandey provided details about the day’s consumption, which included 50 tins of ghee, 30 quintals of fruits, one quintal of flowers, and 25 kg of sandalwood.
Friday’s activities comprised deity worship, recitations, havan, devsnapan, a city tour, and Shayyadhivasa.
