JAMSHEDPUR – On Sunday, hundreds of blankets were distributed among the needy in Kadma and Ulidih under the initiative led by local leaders and community volunteers. The effort aimed to provide relief during the harsh winter season.
In Kadma’s Pratimanagar Nagar Kot area, the blanket distribution was organized under the guidance of Saryu Roy, MLA of Jamshedpur West. The event saw active participation from notable figures, including Subodh Srivastava, Sheshnath Pathak, Neeraj Singh, Laxman, Uttam Kumar Das, Nimay Kumar Agarwal, and Dhananjay Kumar.
Ulidih Distribution Drive
Meanwhile, a similar initiative was carried out in Sidhu Kanhu Basti, Ulidih. Community leaders such as Mukul Mishra, Praveen Singh, Amrendra Paswan, Madhu Sinha, Sunita Singh, Pratima Devi, Mamta Singh, Soni Singh, Mamta Thakur, and Nisha Singh took part in this effort, ensuring the blankets reached hundreds of underprivileged individuals.
Both events highlight the commitment of local authorities and volunteers to support vulnerable sections of society, especially during challenging weather conditions. Speaking about the initiative, one of the volunteers remarked, “We aim to bring some warmth to those battling the winter cold without proper shelter or resources.”
