Massive drive against social distancing norm violators in Jamshedpur
Special drive to continue for 30 days, penalty and arrest also possible, if norms are violated
Jamshedpur: The district administration launched a massive drive against the people violating social distancing norms in the markets of Jamshedpur. The ADM, Dhalbhum SDO and JNAC Special Officer led the intensive drive for enforcing social distancing norms in the city.
As soon as the district administration team arrived in the Sakchi market area, there was a scamper in the entire area. The officers chided those who were roaming around in the market without masks.
A special drive has been launched throughout the state to prevent spread of coronavirus.
The special drive against social distancing norms violators would continue for the next 30 days.
Even on Sunday, this drive was conducted in several shopping malls of the city and a few persons were also rounded up for not complying with social distancing.
The ADM Mr. N K Lal said that initially people are being chided only and then being allowed to go. But in the coming days, they would not only be penalised, but if needed would also be arrested for violating social distancing norms and epidemic laws.
