JAMSHEDPUR – The Election Commission has modified election symbols for two independent candidates in Jamshedpur East constituency amid controversy.

The symbol changes affect independent candidates Abhishek Kumar and Krishna Lohar.

Moreover, Abhishek Kumar’s symbol has been changed from helicopter to diamond.

Meanwhile, Krishna Lohar has strongly protested the last-minute modification of his symbol.

"This change violates democratic principles and fair election practices," remarked a local political observer.

Furthermore, the administration must now advertise these changes in print and electronic media.

However, Krishna Lohar has threatened legal action if proper publicity isn’t given.

In addition, the constituency has a diverse mix of party-affiliated and independent candidates.

On the other hand, major parties retain their traditional symbols in the electoral battle.

Besides, the total candidate count stands at twenty-four for this constituency.
