Ajoy Kumar Assures Residents of Bhuiyandih: No Homes Will Be Demolished

Dr. Ajoy Kumar met residents of Bhuiyandih and assured them that their homes would not be demolished.

JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Ajoy Kumar, former MP and senior Congress leader, met residents of Bhuiyandih’s Kalyan Nagar, Radhika Nagar, and Chhayanagar to discuss the ongoing issues related to their homes near the Swarnarekha River.

During the meeting, Dr. Ajoy assured the residents that no homes would be demolished while the INDIA Alliance government is in power.

He informed them that a petition has been filed in Ranchi High Court and that senior advocate Sandeep Banerjee will represent them in the National Green Tribunal (NGT) on August 23.

Dr. Ajoy emphasized that he would personally bear all the expenses related to the legal proceedings.

Attorney General Rajeev Ranjan has also assured that the government will support the residents’ cause in the NGT.

Dr. Ajoy urged the residents not to worry, as he and his team are fully committed to protecting their homes.

Notably, Dr. Ajoy had earlier taken the initiative by writing to the Chief Minister on July 13, urging action on this matter.

He has also been instrumental in securing the commitment of senior advocate Sandeep Banerjee to take up the case in the Supreme Court.

Residents appreciated Dr. Ajoy’s efforts and his commitment to ensuring that their homes remain safe.
