JAMSHEDPUR – Mango Municipal Corporation has intensified its anti-dengue campaign with daily anti-larva spraying and fogging operations across various localities.

The Additional Municipal Commissioner has directed the initiation of these daily activities to curb the spread of dengue.

Residents have been urged to prevent water logging around their homes, including in tyres, tanks, and other empty spaces.

A fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed on a property in the Pardih area for water logging during an inspection.

Similar operations were conducted in areas like Old Purulia Road and Dimna Road.

The Municipal Commissioner has mandated that these anti-dengue activities continue daily according to a set roster.

Enforcement teams have also cracked down on encroachments in the city.

Near Gulab Bagh Phase One, a fine of ₹8,000 was collected for unauthorized storage of building materials on the roadside.

Offenders were warned against future violations of municipal regulations.

City Manager Kunal Kumar Singh, along with other municipal workers, played a crucial role in these operations.

These measures highlight the corporation’s commitment to public health and urban management.
