Success in Jadugora: Police seize illegal liquor, arrest woman with 408 bottles

408 bottles of Foreign liquor and 8 liters of Mahua were seized in a raid led by police.

Police arrested a woman with illegal liquor after receiving a tip-off in Jadugora.

JAMSHEDPUR – Acting on secret intelligence, authorities in Jadugora arrested a woman, aged 50, at her home in Dharamdih, North Ichara Tola.

They found 408 bottles of foreign liquor and 8 liters of Mahua, valued at Rs 1 lakh.

The raid was overseen by Jamshedpur SSP Kaushal Kishore and Rural SP Rishabh Garg as part of their campaign against illegal drugs.

The accused was arrested and sent to jail on Tuesday.

The raid team consisted of Jadugoda police officers Abhishek Kumar, Satyanarayan Kumar, and others.

SSP Kishore emphasized the ongoing efforts to combat narcotics and illicit alcohol in the region.
