500KLD Sewage Stations Inaugurated, Enhancing Bistupur’s Urban Infrastructure
Today, Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (Tata Steel UISL) unveiled new sewage pumping stations with a capacity of 500,000 liters per day in Bistupur, marking a significant advancement in urban infrastructure.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel UISL has taken a major step forward in enhancing urban infrastructure with the inauguration of the 500KLD Sewage Pumping Stations in Bistupur.
The event was spearheaded by Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, Senior General Manager of Town Operations & Maintenance and Real Estate, who, along with other key executives including Mr. Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman, and Mr. Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL, underscored the firm’s dedication to community welfare and environmental sustainability.
These stations are equipped to handle half a million liters of sewage per day, showcasing a significant technological upgrade in the management of wastewater.
During the ceremony, Capt. Mishra expressed his appreciation for the collective efforts that made this project possible and pointed out the positive implications such infrastructure has on the quality of life for local residents.
