Auto-Car Collision Leads to Theft and Escape in Jamshedpur
Auto driver’s refusal to pay leads to a heated argument and temporary theft of the auto.
A collision occurred between an auto and a Swift Dzire car near the Gurudwara on Jawahar Nagar Road No. 10 in Jamshedpur’s Azad Nagar area on Tuesday night.
JAMSHEDPUR – A collision between an auto and a Swift Dzire near a Gurdwara in Azad Nagar led to a heated argument and the temporary theft of the auto.
After the collision, a young man got out of the car and demanded money from the auto driver.
When the auto driver refused to pay, one of the youths took the auto and drove it a short distance away before abandoning it.
The police were informed and arrived at the scene from Azad Nagar police station.
Seeing the police, the three to four young men and two young women in the car fled the scene.
The police have seized the car and are conducting further investigations.
The auto driver, Mohammad Kaleem, resides on Road No. 14.
This incident has highlighted issues of road rage and vigilantism in the area.
Local residents are calling for stricter measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
The police are continuing their search for the individuals involved in the incident.
