Jamshedpur Mazdoor Union Demands Inquiry into Contract Companies of Tata Bluescope Steel
Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Labor Union has announced its plan to agitate against the alleged atrocities on contract workers in Tata Bluescope Steel Company.
The union has demanded an inquiry into the contract companies of the Tata Bluescope company, citing exploitation of contract workers and corruption in the deposit of their Provident Fund money.
According to the general secretary of the union, the contract workers working in a contract company operating inside the Tata Bluescope company are being exploited. He said that the P.F. money of the workers is allegedly being deposited in the name of another company, which is a clear case of misconduct that needs to be investigated.
The union has also claimed that workers are being forced to work longer hours, and those who raise their voice against the contract companies are being sidelined from work.
They have demanded that the management of Tata Bluescope company conduct an inquiry into these allegations and take appropriate action.
The union has also demanded that the contract workers be given their rightful benefits and protection.
They have warned of further agitation if their demands are not met.
The union said that the alleged exploitation of contract workers is a serious issue, and the demand for an inquiry must be addressed by the Tata Bluescope Steel company management
