This initiative, inaugurated on Friday, offers a significant enhancement to the existing canteen services available to both management and employees within the company.
JAMSHEDPUR – In an innovative move to cater to the health-conscious and dietary needs of its employees, Tata Motors has launched a health menu in the canteen of its final division.
The inauguration of this new menu offering took place on Friday, signaling the company’s commitment to the well-being of its workforce.
The health menu is designed to cater to employees who have been medically advised to consume food with less oil and spices.
Officials from Tata Motors have emphasized that this initiative will provide healthier food options to support the employees’ well-being.
The introduction of the health menu was celebrated with the presence of Tata Motors’ HR Head Mohan, IR Head Soumik Rai, Manish Verma, Tata Motors Workers Union President Gurmeet Singh Tote, General Secretary RK Singh, and other dignitaries.
To further support this initiative, certain canteens, including the General Office Pantry and Sitter’s Pantry, have been designated as pickup pantries, now managed entirely by women.
This move not only introduces healthier food options but also promotes the involvement of women in canteen services, encouraging their participation and management in these facilities.
