Mission Shakti and Poshan Pakhwada Raths Aim for Empowerment and Nutrition

Jamshedpur officials launch Mission Shakti and Poshan Pakhwada Raths, focusing on women’s empowerment and malnutrition awareness in a major community drive.

JAMSHEDPUR – The launch of the Mission Shakti Awareness Rath was led by district officials from the Collectorate premises. This initiative aims to boost women’s economic empowerment and independence in a secure environment.

The Rath’s objective includes reducing women’s care burden and enhancing female workforce participation. This will be achieved through skill development, capacity building, and financial education.

Additionally, the Poshan Pakhwada Awareness Rath was flagged off, targeting a malnutrition-free district. The campaign, running from March 9th to 23rd, emphasizes nutrition and health care for women and children.

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal called for interdepartmental cooperation to ensure the campaign’s success. Health checks for pregnant women and nutrition education are key features of this initiative.

These efforts represent a comprehensive approach to address health and empowerment, reflecting a commitment to community well-being and development.
