History Department Hosts Enlightening 2.0 Program with Quiz and Student Seminar

Karim City College’s History Department shines a spotlight on Indian culture through an engaging educational program.

JAMSHEDPUR – The History Department at Karim City College recently hosted an enriching program titled "2.0 (Indian Culture and Heritage)" engaging students across various semesters.

The event saw participation from Major 1, 2, and Semester 5 students, fostering a deep dive into the nation’s rich cultural legacy.

A highlight of the day was a competitive quiz featuring 7 teams, with Rohit Kumar Mahato and Munnawar Alam clinching the victory.

Ruby Kumari and Khushnuma Rehman’s team were the commendable runners-up in this intellectual challenge.

Additionally, a student seminar showcased scholarly presentations, awarding Ayushman and Shania first place, and Ruby Kumari and Sonal Kumari second.

Dr. Shahbaz Ansari served as the esteemed judge for the program, bringing critical insights to the proceedings.

The program concluded with an address by Dr. Mohammad Riaz, the Principal of Karim City College, who lauded the students’ efforts and participation.

Faculty members including Dr. Kausar Tasneem, Dr. SN Singh, and Dr. Mohammad Shahnawaz also graced the event, offering their encouragement to the participating students.

This unique program not only highlighted the importance of understanding and preserving Indian culture and heritage but also provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills.
