RANCHI – Chief Minister Champai Soren has assured that no culprits will escape justice in the recent gang rape of a Spanish woman in Dumka, Jharkhand.
Speaking from the Assembly complex, Soren revealed that two suspects have already been detained, with efforts underway to apprehend other involved parties.
The government awaits a comprehensive report from Dumka before deciding on a Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry into the harrowing incident that occurred in the Hansdiha police station area.
Amidst addressing this grave matter, CM Soren also commented on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He confidently stated that the Grand Alliance aims to secure all 14 Jharkhand seats, criticizing the BJP-led central government for undermining tribal rights and threatening their existence.
Soren accused the Centre of systematically revoking laws designed to protect the tribal communities’ lands and rights, including the Forest Rights Amendment Bill 2023, as anti-tribal measures.
