Kalpana Soren Accuses Centre of Conspiring Against Jharkhand’s Development

Former CM Hemant Soren’s Arrest Aimed at Blocking State’s Progress, Alleges Wife

Kalpana Soren, the wife of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has accused the central government of hatching a conspiracy to hinder the state’s rapid development by sending her husband to jail.

GIRIDIH – Addressing JMM workers at Dhumadih ground in Bengabad, Giridih district, on Thursday, Kalpana Soren asserted that Jharkhand’s swift progress has become unpalatable for those in power in Delhi.

"The people in power in Delhi are not able to digest the rapid development of Jharkhand," Kalpana Soren alleged, adding, "They hatched a conspiracy and sent former CM Hemant Soren to jail, so that the development of the state gets blocked."

Despite the alleged conspiracies, Kalpana Soren vowed to fight back and ensure that Jharkhand continues to move forward without bowing down under any circumstances.

She acknowledged the sadness felt by JMM workers and their families following Hemant Soren’s imprisonment but urged them to transform their tears into strength to overcome the challenges.

"Every worker along with his family members are saddened by Hemant Soren going to jail. There are tears in his eyes. But there is no need to shed tears, there is a need to build strength by handling it," Kalpana Soren said, emphasizing the need for resilience.

Emphasizing the historical significance of the Dhumadih ground, Kalpana Soren called upon party workers to take an oath to thwart the opposition’s conspiracies through their votes.

Rajya Sabha MP Sarfaraz Ahmed praised the Hemant government’s numerous welfare schemes implemented during its four-year tenure, stating that the opposition’s dislike for these achievements led to Hemant Soren’s implication in a conspiracy.

Ahmed expressed confidence that the public will teach a strong lesson to such forces in the upcoming elections.

Kalpana Soren also discussed various issues with JMM workers in Dhanaydih, Giridih block, as part of her engagement with the party’s grassroots support base.

She stressed the importance of sisters and daughters from every household coming forward to contribute to the state’s progress.

Criticizing the central government’s alleged neglect of Jharkhand’s demands due to the absence of a BJP government in the state, Kalpana Soren called for a stern response in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
