Former CM’s spouse discusses political dynamics and tribal representation in Delhi

Kalpana Murmu Soren, wife of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, highlighted the significance of her recent visit to Delhi, where she engaged in crucial discussions on political and social issues. RANCHI – Kalpana Murmu Soren, spouse of Jharkhand’s ex-Chief Minister, recently clarified speculations surrounding her candidacy in the forthcoming Gandey by-election, indicating that such considerations have not been made as of now.

During her visit, Murmu Soren emphasized the importance of waiting until June 4, the vote counting day, to ascertain the electoral outcomes, expressing optimism for a favorable result.

She recounted the privilege of sharing the perspectives of women and tribals, underscoring her commitment to amplifying their voices on a significant platform.

Kalpana Murmu Soren’s discussions in Delhi also revolved around the achievements of Hemant Soren’s tenure as Chief Minister and the circumstances leading to his arrest prior to the elections.

Reflecting on her participation in a gathering at Ramlila Maidan alongside Chief Minister Champai Soren, she remarked on the opportunity to enhance the India alliance through her engagement.

Upon her return to Ranchi after a productive two-day visit to Delhi, Kalpana Murmu Soren shared insights into her journey and the discussions she had, shedding light on the political and social discourse she was a part of.
