DC Ananya Mittal Leads Review on Welfare Schemes

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal conducted a detailed review of Sarvajan Pension, Chief Minister Livestock Scheme, and Crop Relief Scheme with officials in Jamshedpur, aiming for efficient implementation.

JAMSHEDPUR – District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal held a review meeting in the Collectorate’s office room.

The meeting saw online participation from Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer of Dhalbhum Piyush Sinha, and other key officials.

The focus was on the successful operation of the Chief Minister State Old Age Pension Scheme, Chief Minister Livestock Scheme, and Crop Relief Scheme.

Mittal emphasized prioritizing the government’s ambitious schemes to ensure all eligible beneficiaries are covered.

Instructions were given to start the application process for eligible beneficiaries lacking caste certificates.

The government aims to benefit women aged 50-60, and individuals from the ST and SC communities.

Panchayat-wise camps for these groups are scheduled from 20 to 22 February 2024.

Officials were directed to ensure 100% benefit delivery at the February camps and raise awareness about the schemes.

The meeting covered the promotion of the Chief Minister Livestock Scheme, highlighting the state government’s subsidies on dairy and poultry farming.

LDMs were instructed to facilitate the opening of bank accounts for all eligible scheme beneficiaries.

The Crop Relief Scheme’s status was reviewed, with specific attention to pending land verifications in Patamda and Ghatshila.

Agriculture Officers were urged to expedite crop verification with the assistance of the ATM/BTM team.
