Sikh Delegation From Jamshedpur Meets Minister Of State For Defence Sanjay Seth

Delegation of Sikh community met Union Minister in Ranchi, urged to increase representation in Indian Army

A delegation of the Sikh community from Jamshedpur recently held an important meeting with Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth in Ranchi. During the meeting, the Sikh leaders honoured the minister in a traditional manner and requested to increase the representation of Sikhs in the Indian Army.

Jamshedpur – Representatives of the Jamshedpur Sikh community, who met Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, raised the demand for increasing the participation of their community in the Indian Army.

The delegation welcomed the minister by presenting him a bouquet and a shawl. During this, they highlighted the support of Sikhs to the BJP in the recent Lok Sabha elections and raised the issue of their representation in the army.

Sanjay Seth expressed his gratitude while praising the loyalty of the Sikh community towards the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also promised to personally visit Jamshedpur and meet the Sikh community.

The Union Minister recalled the incomparable contribution of Sikhs in the freedom and security of the country. He said that Prime Minister Modi, BJP and the entire country have great respect for the patriotism of the Sikh community.

Prominent personalities present in the delegation included BJP leaders like Satbir Singh Somu, Gurdeep Singh Pappu, Amrik Singh, Damanpreet Singh, Chanchal Singh Bhatia, Kulwinder Singh, Surinder Singh Shinde, Daljit Singh and Jasvir Singh Soni.
