166th Martyrdom Day Celebrated in Jamshedpur by JMM District Committee
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s District Committee in Purvi Singhbhum commemorates the 166th martyrdom day of Martyr Sheikh Bhikhari and Martyr Tikait Umrao, honoring their sacrifice for India.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a solemn commemoration, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) District Committee of Purvi Singhbhum marked the 166th martyrdom day of Martyr Sheikh Bhikhari and Martyr Tikait Umrao on Monday.
The event, held at the District Liaison Office, saw the garlanding of their portraits as a mark of respect and remembrance.
Sheikh Badruddin, a prominent figure at the event, expressed his contentment over the increasing acknowledgment of the martyrs’ sacrifice by various political parties.
He specifically noted the tribute paid to Honorable Dishom Guru Veer Shibu Soren, a revered figure in the region.
Dignitaries such as Pramod Lal, Birsih Suren, and District Vice President Sagen Purti were among the key attendees.
The gathering also included Arun Prasad, Faiyaz Ahmed Khan, Pritam Hembram, and Mohammad Samad Ansari, showcasing a diverse representation.
Abdul Bari Ansari, Umanath Jha, Dhiren Mardi, and Kalu Gorai marked their presence, underlining the event’s significance.
Arun Singh Raja, Victor Soren, and MLA representative Raimul Bandra were also present, adding to the political weight of the occasion.
Inder Pal Singh, Suraj Gaur, Pintu Lal, and Chandan Lal were noted among the attendees, demonstrating the broad support for the martyrs’ legacy.
Notable figures such as Hardev Singh Mango, R Srinivasan Rao, Harjeet Singh, and Ranu Mandal also graced the event, reflecting its wide-reaching impact.
