KHARSAWAN – On Sunday, the Ravana Dahan ceremony was held at Kharasawan High School ground under the auspices of Seva Sangh Committee, Talsahi.

The event, marking the triumph of truth over falsehood and justice over injustice, saw a large crowd in attendance.

Social worker Prithviraj Singhdev initiated the burning by firing an arrow at the giant Ravana effigy.

As the effigy went up in flames, chants of "Jai Shri Ram," "Jai Maa Bhavani," and "Jai Maa Durga" echoed through the crowd.

The event was attended by key officials including SDPO Sameer Savaiya, BDO Pradhan Majhi, and Kharasawan Police Station In-charge Gaurav Kumar.

Members of the Seva Sangh Committee, along with local dignitaries such as Ashok Raut, Nayan Nayak, and Sachindra Kumar Dash, were also present.

Spectacular fireworks lit up the sky as the effigy burned.

Special lighting arrangements were made for the event, which has become a major attraction for the local community.

A large number of people gathered to witness the celebration, making it a grand success.
