Jamshedpur Police Ramp Up Night Patrols for New Year

East Singhbhum Police Intensify Night Patrolling Ahead of New Year Celebrations

In anticipation of New Year festivities, East Singhbhum district police in Jamshedpur increase night patrols to enhance security.

JAMSHEDPUR – To ensure the safety of residents during New Year festivities, armed policemen will be deployed strategically post 10 pm, replacing the daytime Tiger Mobile patrols.

Routine patrolling will be transformed into a dynamic and proactive approach to prevent potential criminal exploitation.

Vehicle checks, including intercepting cars and three-wheelers post-midnight, will be conducted to identify any suspicious behavior.

Passengers may be frisked to confirm they are unarmed, as part of the heightened security measures.

Anticipating increased crimes like theft and burglary during the festive season, the police aim to proactively prevent criminal activities.

The police’s proactive engagement aims to deter criminals before they become active.

Deputy superintendents of police will closely monitor the intensified patrolling, extending past midnight in different areas.

Increased police visibility through night patrolling aims to disrupt criminal activities and send a clear message to potential offenders.

A senior police official emphasized the need for intensified patrolling, even though recent theft and burglary incidents have declined.

The decision to escalate night patrolling is a response to the approaching New Year and its associated festivities.
