Security Concerns Arise as Thieves Target Upscale Housing Society
A major theft worth lakhs of rupees was reported at Vijaya Garden in Jamshedpur’s Birsanagar police station area, highlighting security issues even in upscale housing societies.
JAMSHEDPUR – A significant theft, amounting to a substantial sum of money, was recently reported at Vijaya Garden in Jamshedpur’s Birsanagar police station area. This incident sheds light on the security concerns that exist even within affluent residential communities.
The incident took place at the duplex of Shyam Sundar Pandey, who, along with his family, was visiting the Ram temple in Ayodhya on May 29.
On the night of May 31, some unwelcome visitors broke into the house and unfortunately took away precious jewellery and valuable items.
On Saturday morning, the household maid was taken aback when she arrived to tend the garden and found the door broken, signaling a theft.
The neighbors were quickly notified, and Shyam Sundar Pandey’s older brother, Hari Shankar Pandey, was informed of what was happening.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that all the jewelry in the house had disappeared.
Hari Shankar Pandey was worried about the theft and mentioned that there was more jewellery in the house because of a recent family event.
He also raised doubts about the society’s security measures, questioning their effectiveness.
In addition, the lock of a neighboring duplex was also discovered to be broken, although the thieves were unable to succeed in their attempt there.
The incident has caused a great deal of concern among the residents of Vijaya Garden regarding the security in their area.
