Theft Incidents Tarnish Reputation of Jamshedpur’s Vijaya Garden Society
Authorities Pledge Swift Action to Address Security Concerns
In light of a recent series of thefts in Vijaya Garden, Birsanagar, top officials have committed to resolving the issue promptly.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of East Singhbhum, the City Superintendent of Police, and the Managing Director of Vijaya Garden Society, Phani Mahato, have vowed to address the recent thefts in Vijaya Garden swiftly.
This assurance was given to MLA Saryu Roy during a phone conversation with Mahato, who is currently in Singapore.
In a press release, MLA Saryu Roy outlined their discussion, noting that the Jamshedpur Police’s primary objective is to solve the theft cases, catch the perpetrators, and recover the stolen items.
Following this, a comprehensive plan will be developed to strengthen security within the Vijaya Garden premises.
MLA Saryu Roy described Vijaya Garden as a prestigious residential community in Jamshedpur, highlighting residents’ concerns about the thefts that have damaged the society’s reputation.
He emphasized the need for a robust security system, involving both law enforcement and society management, to ensure residents’ safety and well-being.
During a visit to the affected family in Vijaya Garden, MLA Saryu Roy observed the impact of the theft firsthand and recommended measures to boost security, including using sniffer dog squads.
He also pointed out issues with the management staff’s responsiveness and called for greater cooperation between the society management and Jamshedpur Police to tackle security challenges effectively.
MLA Saryu Roy expressed satisfaction with the proactive measures taken by district police officials and the managing director of Vijaya Garden Society, hoping for improved security not only in Vijaya Garden but also in other residential complexes across the city.
