Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Bagbera celebrated the Hindu New Year with a vibrant procession and special program, reflecting cultural pride and spiritual renewal among students and staff.

JAMSHEDPUR – Early Tuesday morning, the Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir in Bagbera became a hub of festivity as students from class IV to X marked the Hindu New Year with a spirited procession that weaved through the localities, emanating a strong sense of community and tradition.

Carrying the saffron flag and chanting slogans in honor of Bharat Mata, Vikramaditya, Dr. Hedgewar, and Lord Rama, the students, referred to as brothers and sisters, demonstrated their cultural pride and reverence for historical and spiritual icons.

The celebratory procession culminated back at the school, setting the stage for a special program inaugurated by distinguished guests including School Managing Committee Chairman Arvind Singh and Secretary cum District Councilor Dr. Kavita Parmar, among others, through the ceremonial lighting of lamps before the deities and revered symbols.

Arvind Singh extended heartfelt New Year wishes to all, emphasizing the auspiciousness of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada and the essence of renewal it brings to nature and human lives alike.

Dr. Parmar encouraged the students to embrace the day’s significance by hoisting the saffron flag at home and lighting lamps to usher in happiness, prosperity, and freshness into their lives, alongside preparing festive dishes to celebrate the occasion.

The event concluded with the chanting of the World Peace Mantra, reinforcing the school’s wishes for harmony and well-being across the globe.

The presence of all teachers and students, along with the distribution of Prasad, encapsulated the spirit of communal joy and spiritual renewal that characterizes the Hindu New Year celebration at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Bagbera.
