Gurdwara Committee Delegation Discusses Railway Upgrades with Chakradharpur DRM
Jamshedpur delegation meets DRM for railway infrastructure development and daily train services.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant meeting, the Central Gurdwara Management Committee, led by Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh, met with Chakradharpur Railway Division DRM Arun J Rathore.
The discussion focused on the public’s request for daily operations of Jallianwala Bagh Express and Jammu Tawi Express.
Sardar Shailendra Singh and the delegation also presented various public issues related to Jamshedpur, emphasizing the need for better railway infrastructure.
During the meeting, the DRM was honored with organ clothes and a bouquet for initiating the construction of a new overbridge in Jugsalai.
Key topics included the construction of a new foot overbridge at Jugsalai gate and an additional bridge parallel to the often-congested Burmamines Over Bridge.
Discussions extended to repairing the deteriorating Burmamines Over Bridge road and constructing a double road from the underbridge near Tata Pigment Gate to Pradeep Mishra Chowk.
Sardar Shailendra Singh highlighted the Central Gurdwara Management Committee’s dual role in addressing religious and social issues in Jamshedpur.
DRM Arun J Rathore assured that a new foot overbridge would be completed within six months, with all formalities and tenders already in place.
He also agreed to the proposal for a parallel bridge to the Burmamines Over Bridge, promising to forward the proposal to the relevant department.
Rathore committed to annual repairs of the Burmamines Over Bridge and the development of a double road post the construction of a third line on the bridge near Tata Pigment Gate.
Delegation members sai this meeting reflects a collaborative effort between the community and railway authorities to enhance transport infrastructure in Jamshedpur.
