Jamshedpur to Host Tata Steel’s First Winter Sports Camp from Dec 24-31

Tata Steel’s Winter Sports Camp in Jamshedpur promises a blend of sports, fitness, and festive fun, welcoming children and families from December 24 to 31.

JAMSHEDPUR – In an exciting update, Tata Steel has announced its inaugural Winter Sports Camp, slated to begin from December 24 and culminate on December 31, at Housing Plot#2 TSK, featuring various sports activities.

This groundbreaking initiative is part of a broader vision to establish the camp as an annual event, fostering sportsmanship and talent development.

The TSK Winter Camp in Kalinganagar, Noamundi, and Joda mirrors this commitment, offering activities like cricket, athletics, yoga, and Zumba.

Additionally, the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur will host a Christmas Carnival on December 24, featuring attractions like a live music band, food stalls, and a soft play area.

The camp will also include 30 children from Special Olympic Bharat-Jharkhand and 50 local community children, ensuring inclusivity and community participation.

Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President of Corporate Services at Tata Steel, highlighted the camp’s role in promoting fitness, camaraderie, and sportsmanship in Jamshedpur.

Apart from sports, the camp will offer Zumba, yoga, Pilates, and a session on Sports Psychology and Nutrition for parents.

The diverse sports offerings include swimming, horse riding, badminton, cricket, roller skating, lawn tennis, basketball, chess, table tennis, football, athletics, volleyball, and yoga.

Swimming sessions are scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while the overall camp timings are from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Registration fees for the camp have been set, with different rates for various activities, ensuring accessibility and choice for participants.
