The first edition of the Senior Citizens Fun & Fitness League, hosted last year by Tata Steel Sports Department, was met with enthusiastic participation from Jamshedpur’s senior citizens.

The inaugural edition featured a variety of sporting events, including Badminton, Table Tennis, Yoga, Golf Putting, and Walkathon.

This year’s edition is expected to offer an even wider range of sports, such as Carrom, Chess, Badminton, Yoga, Walkathon, Golf Putting, and Tennis. Additionally, there will be knowledge-sharing sessions specifically tailored for senior citizen participants.

The Tata Steel Sports Department aims to foster a sense of community, promote active lifestyles, and encourage senior citizens in Jamshedpur to engage in both physical and intellectual activities.

This initiative is expected to contribute to their overall well-being and the development of a vibrant sporting culture in the region.
