Jugsalai Police Boost Public Confidence with Foot Patrols

District SSP Leads On-Foot Area Tour, Engaging with Locals

Jamshedpur SSP and officers initiate foot patrols in Jugsalai to curb crime and foster community trust.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a proactive move to combat criminal activities and build trust among the local populace, the District SSP, along with a team of police officers and personnel, conducted a comprehensive foot patrol across the area.

This initiative, primarily aimed at deterring criminal elements and bolstering public confidence in law enforcement, saw active participation from the police force.

During the patrol, the Jugsalai community expressed its appreciation for the police’s efforts.

Residents near the Chowk honored the police officers by presenting them with flower bunches and body clothes, symbolizing their support and gratitude.

The foot patrolling initiative, led by the Superintendent of Police, City, is part of a wider effort to enhance visibility and presence of the police in various areas.

The patrol in the Jugsalai police station area was especially notable, with Police Captain Kaushal Kishore joining the ranks.

Accompanied by senior officers including the SP, ASP, DSP, and the Jugsalai police station in-charge, the team traversed from Veer Kunwar Singh Chowk through the market area, reaching near the Jugsalai railway gate.

These interactions focused on improving policing strategies and community engagement.

SSP informed that this initiative aims to bridge the gap between the police and the public, essential for effectively combating crime and alleviating fears among residents.

Foot patrolling by senior officers in various police station areas not only serves as a deterrent to crime but also facilitates direct interaction with the community.

Emphasizing vigilance, the SSP urged locals to collaborate with the police by reporting suspicious activities, installing CCTV cameras, and fostering a cooperative spirit.

He said that this combined effort of the police and the community is crucial in maintaining law and order and ensuring a safer environment for all.
