City SP Mukesh Lunayat announced that the suspects were sent to judicial custody following their arrest.
The accused are identified as Sanjay Bhuiya and Aman Mandal from Sitaramdera, and Prahlad Karmakar from Jugslai.
"All three are friends and had a prior monetary dispute with the victim, Karan Singh," SP Lunayat stated.
Police recovered a pistol and a spent cartridge from the suspects.
