Bhagwat Katha’s Day 6 Highlights: Spiritual Insights, Social Initiatives

Day 6 of Bhagwat Katha at Bistupur Tulsi Bhawan, Jamshedpur saw spiritual talks and social services continue in full swing.

JAMSHEDPUR – Thursday’s Bhagwat Katha at Bistupur Tulsi Bhawan was replete with divine wisdom and social goodwill. Katha Vachak Sitaram Shastri discussed the virtues of Rukmani, the depth of Raas Leela, and the Uddhav-Gopi Samvad. He emphasized that true beauty lies in one’s heart and the divine connection of the soul is the essence of Raas Leela.

During a conversation at Sandidhani Vidyalaya, Shastri shared concerns about the current educational scenario, noting that despite advancements in education, moral values are deteriorating. He pointed out that students openly indulge in vices, indicative of the disturbing erosion of morality in the name of freedom.

On the Katha’s seventh day, the story of Sudama and Shri Krishna’s journey to Swadham will be narrated. This will be followed by a Havan and Purnahuti.

In addition to spiritual teachings, the Ekadashi Day featured a cow donation ceremony led by Shastri, Neera Baithwal, National President of the Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan (ABMMS), and Rupa Agarwal, National Secretary. A healthcare initiative offering free blood and sugar tests to over 200 individuals was also conducted.

Moreover, two weddings were solemnized at the event hosted by the Jharkhand Prantiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan (JPMMS) and Marwari Mahila Manch (MMM) Jamshedpur. Shastri blessed the couples and offered them gifts and financial aid.
