KPS Mango Hosts 3rd CISCE Regional Boxing Championship cum Selection Trial
Jharkhand and Bihar regional boxing team to be selected from 110 boxers in 3rd CISCE Regional Boxing Championship cum Selection Trial held at KPS Mango.
JAMSHEDPUR – An air of intense rivalry and extraordinary talent filled KPS Mango on Sunday, the location of the 3rd CISCE Regional Boxing Championship cum Selection Trial.
Boxers from the host school, KPS Mango, demonstrated remarkable prowess and technique, setting the bar high and fuelling the championship’s intensity.
The event saw the presence of notable personalities including Kundan Kumar Chandra, a sports instructor, and Raj Shekharan, the vice principal, who were there to provide support and motivation to the budding pugilists.
Principal Rupa Ghosh extended a warm welcome to all, setting a positive tone for the ensuing championship.
The opening ceremony of this event was graced by Ajit Singh, a national level boxing coach, and Gurpado Gorai, the secretary of the East Singhbhum District Boxing Association.
With 110 participating boxers (boys and girls) from 13 schools, the trial’s objective was to form the regional boxing team from Jharkhand and Bihar, which is set to participate in the forthcoming National Championship.
