Preparations Complete for Jamshedpur’s Oldest Bala Ganpati Vilas Ganesh Festival
The 106-year-old Ganesh Mahotsav will run from September 7 to September 21; Odisha Governor Raghubar Das to inaugurate the event.
Preparations have been finalized for the Ganesh Mahotsav organized by Bala Ganpati Vilas, the oldest in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city’s oldest Ganesh festival, organized by Bala Ganpati Vilas, is set to begin on September 7 and will continue until September 21.
Odisha Governor Raghubar Das will inaugurate the festival on the evening of September 7.
Bala Ganpati Vilas has been organizing this festival for the past 106 years, making it a significant cultural event in the city.
Grand Fair and Attractions
This year, as in the past, a grand fair will be held as part of the celebrations.
The fair will feature vendors from outside the state who will set up their shops, offering a variety of goods to festival-goers.
Additionally, several amusement rides will be available for the entertainment of the visitors.
The festival promises to provide the residents of Jamshedpur with a vibrant and enjoyable experience.
The idol immersion ceremony for Bala Ganpati Vilas will take place on September 22, marking the conclusion of the festival.
